About IAP Fine Art

IAP Fine ArtIAP Fine Art

IAP Fine Art is a rare type of gallery in that they only represent the talents of painter Chris Gollon. This site is their online presence, with full history and details, of the gallery.

It's also one half of a pair of sites designed for gallery IAP Fine Art. Their purpose is to let the world know a little about the extremely cool, and frequently twisted, painter Chris Gollon. This much is probably apparent from the URL.

What's not so apparent is that it's an entirely database-driven site. The archive of Chris' work is fully searchable, with the added advantage of allowing staff at IAP to add and edit works without having to load our in-tray with long and convoluted email instructions. They can log in to a secure website and change the details themselves, live and direct. The same system allows them to add details of any of the exhibitions that Chris has booked. They eventual aim is to build the first complete (as in really complete) archive that anyone has bothered to publish for a still-breathing artist.

We really recommend visiting this site, not because of our designers' vanity, but because Chris' work is so striking. You'll love it or hate it; few people can sit on the fence when it comes to opinions of his work. Personally..? Personally, a Chris Gollon now has pride of place in the Vertebrate unwinding zone (thanks, David).
